Do you observe outside playtime? It seems hard to do since children are playing all over. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you

I have always been told that we do not observe outside time for Preschool but it is ok for toddlers.
I think the playground is an excellent place to make observations, I mean after all, the ECOT asks about how they handle the equipment and what they can do with their bodies, why wouldn't you observe outside?
