 Still need help finding an observer

Hello Teachstone team,

I am reaching out for help because I still haven't been able to schedule a specialist for my observation session. 
A couple of weeks ago, I made a post on the Teachstone community forum asking about the directory of observers [see below].

While I got a response with a link to the directory, I reached out to a few of the observers on the list and still no response. One person responded but said she no longer did observations. I have also tried using the CDA council directory but nobody has responded yet. 
I am reaching out if you can help connect me with a specialist so that I can successfully complete my CDA certification as it is still pending due to this issue and time is running out. The school where the observation should take place is in Albany, NY. I would be very grateful if anybody at all can help!

  1. Double-check the Observer Directory: Some observers may have updated availability or preferred contact methods. When reaching out, try including a few key details like your location (Albany, NY), the age level (e.g., Pre-K), and the timeline you’re hoping to complete the observation in.

  2. Contact the Council for Professional Recognition (CDA Council): Since your observation is tied to CDA certification, the Council may have additional resources or connections beyond CLASS observers.

  3. Reach out to Local Networks: Sometimes, local early childhood education networks or training organizations (like Child Care Resource & Referral agencies) have partnerships with observers or CDA PD specialists.
