 unfinished assignments

This may be an unusual/silly question or post but I am at the end of week 8 of course one and unfortunately I was unable to finish the last few assignments (the podcast reflections onward)  before the deadline. I know course 2 is starting tomorrow (aug 1st). I've been dealing with a great deal of personal issues and fell a bit behind on my work. Does this mean I have automatically failed the course? Is there absolutely anything that I can do to mend this and who would I speak to about it? The company I work for is paying for my class, and of course im worried about my grade and assignments but i'm also worried about my grade dropping to a certain point and then having to pay for the course out of pocket. If anyone knows what I should do here please help. -Angelita

Hi @Angelita Smith, not a silly question at all! It looks like you're only missing a couple of assignments so you will be granted a 1 week extension. You should get a notification about this by the end of the day today. I hope that helps!
