    Posted 8 days ago

I failed my two first attempts to pass the Observer Reliability Test. In my last attempt, I score 90% in four of the tests, and less in on lest and failed to pass the 2 out of 5 rule. I'm having a hard time with Instructional Learning Format, especially with Language Mode. I wish I could get specific feedback in the dimensions I failed and why so I could learn from my mistakes.

    It's very frustrating and confussing.

Yes, I know.  I want to know why I scored that area, and let me know how close or not the actual score is, so I know if I'm almost there or off base.

I'm really worried that I won't be able to finish the third module, and on Saturday, May 9, all my information disappeared from the app-in other words, even the modules I've already completed aren't showing up. Has this happened to anyone else?

    Hi Alicia,

If you can go to the Teachstone home page there is a link on the dashboard page, 2E PK-3 video library. The have training videos for each domain that might help you for the Instructional Learning Format.

I understand what you're going through. After I failed the first time, I reached out to Teachstone. Someone contacted me and was very helpful she showed me my mistakes and gave me some tips. Unfortunately, I still didn't pass the second time.

I reached out again, but no one contacted me. I even sent two emails. I felt completely alone. I pulled myself together, reviewed the material again, and went for my third attempt. Thankfully, I passed with a 95%, but it was a very hard journey for me.

Hello, I just failed my second try. I got 100% on 2, 80% on 1 50 and 60% on the other two, met the 2 of 5 rule. Wish results were more objective to understand more where I need to improve on as well.

I agree, it is beyond frustrating trying to pass when you meet one criteria but not the other and have to wait at until you have finished the whole set to see how far off your coding was!  This process is not helpful for everyone to "develop their CLASS lens".  I wish there would be a way that you could talk through the observations with someone from support in real time and they could make the determination if you understand the process enough to pass. I have a coworker that struggled with another tool and her scores were very close to passing.  Someone from that tools support reached out to her and she was able to discuss what she saw and why she scored that item that way and was then able to be certified in that tool.
